BEQUESTS

Bequests are an important part of the American Philanthropic tradition. A will allows you to plan for the future of those you love while also providing for those charities that are important to you. A charitable bequest provides the ultimate gift for a charitable cause and perpetuates your life interest and influence into the future.

A charitable bequest is a provision in one’s last will and testament where a gift or property is transferred from an estate to a charitable organization. A bequest can also be made by simply adding a codicil to an existing will.

Learn more about opportunities to support the East Oakland Youth Development Center through planned giving by contacting our Executive Director at (510) 569-8088.
