S.C.E.P. Program Director

Qualifications

  • At least 3.0 GPA
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the S.C.E.P.

Job Description

  • Train Assistant Directors, Administrative Director, Youth Instructors, Youth Instructor Assistants, and Youth Leaders (full-time, interns, and volunteers)
  • Create promotional items for the S.C.E.P. (i.e. Fliers, T-Shirts)
  • Ensure the completion of the Yearbook and the Talent Show/Parent Night Slideshow
  • Be in charge of scheduling of special events and daily activities to prevent mix-ups
  • Conduct all meetings
  • Keep S.C.E.P. office clean
  • Keep detailed records of all S.C.E.P. staff and participants
  • Provide recommendations for hiring and firing of employees
  • Compose an end-of the-year recommendation for future Directorial Staff members. Should include, but is not limited to:
    • Recommendation for each staff member and each class
    • Notes on any participants who needed extra attention
  • Create new programs, ideas, and/or events for the S.C.E.P.
  • Provide support for all staff (S.C.E.P. and year-round)
  • Solve conflict management issues between S.C.E.P. staff and program participants
  • Oversee all day-to-day activities and field trips
  • Work on grants or other fundraising opportunities
  • Complete any supplemental materials for grants that have already been submitted
  • Market the S.C.E.P. to ensure full enrollment
  • Be able to act as the chief resource or spokesperson of the S.C.E.P. when needed
  • Interact with staff and program participants
  • Model character attributes to all participants
